About “The Singles Collection”
Released on November 22, 2019—the 56th anniversary of With The Beatles—this is the first time that a Beatles “singles” box set has included tracks from their mid-1990s reunion.
According to their official website, the collection houses 46 tracks on 23 7-inch vinyl singles in newly reproduced picture sleeves. The collection is also accompanied by a 40-page booklet with photos, collectable items, and detailed essays by famed Beatles historian Kevin Howlett.
The collection also includes John Lennon-penned singles “Free As A Bird” and “Real Love,” as recorded by Paul, George and Ringo during the Anthology series; both of which have been remastered and cut for vinyl at Abbey Road Studios.
