Gap Band V – Jammin’ is the seventh album (contrary to the title) by American R&B and funk band The Gap Band.
Producing the singles “Party Train” and “Jam The Motha'”, the album reached #2 on the Black Albums chart and #28 on the Pop Albums chart.
Other less successful singles include “Shake A Leg” and “I’m Ready (If You’re Ready)” as well as UK-only singles “Jammin' In America” and “Someday” (which is a loose cover of the late Donny Hathaway’s “Someday We’ll All Be Free”).
