The Rolling Stones' debut album, released on April 16, 1964 in the UK, the US edition being England’s Newest Hit Makers, which became its official title later on. A majority of the tracks are cover songs, reflecting their love for R&B. The album stayed at No.1 in the UK for twelve weeks during 1964, and is a cornerstone of their success.
