Nothing Ever Changes, released sometime in 1988, is the first official release by the band. There are only an estimated 100 copies of this self-released EP in circulation.
Neither bassist D'arcy Wretzky nor drummer Jimmy Chamberlin were present at this time. Billy Corgan plays bass on all tracks, Ron Roesing of Billy’s previous band, The Marked plays drums on the first two tracks, and a drum machine is used on the second two tracks.
