The Who’s most famous compilation covers their 1960s output, collecting their most popular singles at the time, along with album tracks “Boris the Spider” and “I’m a Boy.” This was also the first time that “Substitute,” “The Seeker,” and “Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere” had appeared on any album, while it was the first UK LP release for “Magic Bus” and “Pictures of Lily.”
The record has been immensely and enduringly popular with fans and critics, and is certified Platinum by the RIAA.
