About “I See You”

4 years after the release of sophomore album Coexist, English trio The xx return to the indie pop atmosphere with a record akin to their creative instrumental roots.

The band preceded the album with several mysterious snippets of new music, introduced through a playlist of songs they were listening to in the studio. On November 10, 2016, “On Hold" was released as the lead single.

I See You, released January 13, 2017, via Young Turks, was produced by central member Jamie xx, along with Rodaidh Macdonald. The album was recorded between March 2014 and August 2016 in a range of cities around the globe.

Physical and digital copies carry a total of ten tracks, while a limited edition box set of the album comes with 3 bonus tracks.
