In 1997, The Zombies released a 120-track compilation of the band’s original work, it was released on UK Ace/Big beat. The album was known as “Zombie Heaven” which is an appropriate title since the album contains the best of the band’s original tracks. The album contains all the band’s songs that were recorded at Decca/Parrot in mono.
“Zombie Heaven” was released in a four-disc box set. The first CD consists of their debut “Begin Here” and different singles. The second has their second album “Odyssey & Oracle” & the album “R.I.P.” The third disc is composed of unissued recordings, including demos, alternate takes, and EP tracks. The fourth and last disc collects their live recordings from the band’s appearance on BBC.
