American Ride

American Ride is the thirteenth album by American country singer-songwriter Toby Keith, released on October 6, 2009, via Show Dog Nashville. The album marked Keith’s last album on the Show Dog Nashville label. Commercially, the album peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top Country Albums chart.

“American Ride” was released as the lead single, with “Cryin' for Me (Wayman’s Song)” released as the second, and “Every Dog Has Its Day” as the third and final. “Cryin' For Me (Wayman’s Song)” was written for Wayman Tisdale, a close friend of Keith’s who died in 2009.
