About “Dream Walkin’”

Dream Walkin’ is the fourth studio album by American country singer-songwriter Toby Keith, released on June 24, 1997, via Mercury Records. The album became the first to feature American musician James Stroud as a co-producer and Keith’s final of new music with Mercury Records after signing with DreamWorks Records in 1998.

A total of three singles were released from the album: “We Were in Love” on June 9, 1997, “I’m So Happy I Can’t Stop Crying” featuring Sting on October 6, 1997 and “Dream Walkin'” on January 26, 1998. None of the singles reached the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, marking his first album to do so. “I’m So Happy I Can’t Stop Crying” became Toby Keith’s first single to featured another artist.
