Yesterday (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

This is the soundtrack to Danny Boyle’s 2019 comedy about a struggling British musician (Himesh Patel) who wakes up after an accident and finds that he’s the only person in the world who remembers the existence of the Beatles or their songs. The album is full of Patel’s covers of those songs, as his character passes off the Fab Four’s work as his own.

Some of the tracks are marked “From the Album One Man Only.” In the film, the protagonist releases a massive double album of Beatles songs that the world’s music-lovers have never heard before. The record executives reject all of his proposed album titles (which are all titles of actual Beatles albums) and instead decide to herald the fact that he has apparently produced these songs with no collaborators. The title of the album is One Man Only.
