Calling out for me
These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free
Be it for reason, be it for love

I'm tired of looking for answers
Take me some place where there's music and there's laughter
I don't know if I'm scared of dying
But I'm scared of living too fast, too slow First Aid Kit – My Silver Lining

Instead of shades of blue, Lana now refers to them as shades of cool. This could to allude to these shades being blue-tinted sunglasses – everything he looks at is affected by the lens he observes them with.
Being ‘cool’ can also be interpreted as being laid-back and chill. California is a particularly warm state, but despite the temperature this man never seems to break a sweat. He has a certain ease (aptitude), with both his heart (he lives for love) and his hands, referring to his physical prowess and hands on approach to life.
I think there are two mistakes in the second verse.
First,
“My baby lives in shades of COLD
COLD heart and hands and aptitude”
If you listen to it carefully, it sounds much more like an OH sound (cold) rather than an OOH sound (cool).
Second,
“He lives for love, for women too
I’m one of many BONNIES BLUE.”
She pronounces a “b” quite distinguishably after “many.” Also “one is blue” is very awkward sounding.
