Nostalgia and regret hits Lorde at full throttle. She goes from just fearing growing up to mourning her lost childhood and innocence. Lorde often regrets how she doesn’t let her inner child out as much as she would like. She feels like society would be way more cohesive if it learned to be a bit childish at times.
