One of those bands that is clearly better live. It was an audience of diehard fans, which helps of course.

Setlist

Hypest (free) jazz concert I’ve ever seen – there were legit mosh pits. Their Lemonade cover was amazing. They also had some cool gimmicks, like throwing cookies into the crowd.

I got food while he was on (at a one stage fest). Not really my cup of tea.

It was a little depressing to see this band, whose sound is so tied to a specific era, struggling desperately to keep early 80s new wave alive.

A remarkable songwriter with considerable stage presence, his set was liberally sprinkled with humourous off-handed remarks and interplay with his band. ¾ of the crowd lit up cigarettes, which I found amusing.

Meh. Their other songs aren’t really better than Little Talks, nor do they soud noticeably different.

Setlist

I watched them from a distance, as my companions were eager to secure a prime spot for another artist’s set. They were cool I guess.

My favourite band of all time, and they did not disappoint, playing two sets over the course of four hours, including a representative selection of their classic tracks. Highlight was their abrided rendering of the 2112 suite.
