The way you draw a person to another person is often exaggerated. Either you paint them too good, or too bad in an attempt to get sympathy from another party.

Sometimes you consciously paint people in a darker light so that you feel a sense of gratification for being able to “Deal with them” as apposed to being the one thats being dealt with. But as soon as people begin to judge them too harshly you have to defend them and you feel bad

Sometimes when you go on your complaint rant you pant people in a light the rest of the world shouldn’t see them in, sometimes that role reverses and not only do you make every group of people in your life hate each other, but you also..

Ever been in the situation that your father hates your boyfriend and your boyfriend hates your father and your best friend cant stand you other friends and vice versa?

If you’ve been in that situation you know that each person serves a significant purpose in your life, and all of those “entities” hate each other for a different reason, not understanding they all possess faults and they all do something good for you

Often as humans we become paralyzed by things that happen in our lives. No matter how much you attempt to function as a normal person repressed anger will turn into misplaced anger and you’ll begin to hurt everyone in your life.

To people that ignore their own hurt, they’re often the ones who unconsciously hurt the most people around them

No one else felt patronized as a kid when your parents gave you that “I whoop you because I love you” crap?

Well, this relationship went a little past that. Probably went into physical abuse moreso than discipline. But she’s excusing everything her husband does to her children with the fact that he’s simply being brutal to ensure that no one else ever will have right to judge him. Hopefully the whoopings will “whip” him into shape. In this line she is reassuring the child that his father still loves him.

Just her reasoning of the line before. She cares more about how other people view her than she does herself, or even her childs future.
