To Pimp A Butterfly should win, but this is the Grammys…

  1. Kendrick
  2. Swift
  3. The Weeknd (shouldn’t be nominated tbh)
  4. Alabama Shakes (likewise)

Haven’t heard the Chris Stapleton. Token Country album or actually worthwhile?

Despite Cole’s prediction, no nomination for Iggy Azalea! Hooray!

Kendrick surely has to win, seeing as he’s nominated for the main award.

I don’t think these are the five best rap albums of the year by any means, but nothing can compete with To Pimp A Butterfly in any case.

Actually a decent list…

Miguel should probably win, but Lianne and The Internet put out strong albums, and The Weeknd probably will win.

This has a distinctly “10 years behind its time” feel to it – Wilco, Bjork, and My Morning Jacket?

Although Bjork is quite deserving, Currents is the clear winner in a meritocratic world… but Carrie and Lowell and Depression Cherry should be nominated and competing for the trophy.

Revelation, the final book in the Bible, depicts the end of the world.

The end of the world was a popular theme in 2012. The Mayan calendar ends in 2012. This inspired a lot of doom-mongering, including the hilariously melodramatic film 2012.

Whether Vic is adding to this zeitgeist or hyping up his band as the cause of the apocalypse is up to interpretation.

Below Disclosure? OK.
