Baths

Will Wiesenfeld (born April 16, 1989), better known by his stage name Baths, is an American electronic musician. Born and raised in LA, Will was classically trained on piano from age four.

The ‘Baths’ moniker is derived from Will’s love of bathing and the inspiration it gives him; but he is equally inspired by solitary walks, anime, and a desire to have sex with Mr. Incredible.

Will first recorded under the name [Post-foetus] and made his first ‘active listening’ release as Baths with Cerulean on Anticon in 2010. He records more ambient ‘passive listening’ as Geotic. It’s also Baths is not always a solo endeavour – on some songs, he is joined by creative partner and live band member Morgan Greenwood.
