Robert Clarence Nobles was born April 1, 1908 in Winnipeg, Canada and he passed away June 16, 1980 in Studio City, California. He was a singer, songwriter, actor and poet; instrumental in creating “Western” music. He is best remembered as the writer of “Cool Water” and “Tumbling Tumbleweeds.”
