Discordance Axis was a grindcore band from East Brunswick, New Jersey that existed between 1992-2001. Members of Discordance Axis later went on to form the grindcore band Gridlink. Discordance Axis is noted for their metaphorical lyrics, based on novels and anime, such as Neon Genesis Evangelion.
