Jim Diamond (producer)

About Jim Diamond (producer)

Producer, recording engineer, and musician from Detroit, Michigan, Diamond’s now-defunct Ghetto Recorders studio became synonymous with the garage-rock revival of the early ‘00s. This is due in no small part its specialization in analogue recording, as well as his association with The White Stripes’ self-titled debut. His work spans decades and he has been praised for his ability to “capture the raw energy of a live band”, which has no doubt lent him credit and notoriety as an in-demand figure in modern indie-rock recording.
