Mark Wakefield was the lead singer of Xero, the project founded in 1996 by Mike Shinoda that later became Linkin Park. Wakefield took part in the recording of a self-titled demo tape before leaving the band in 1998, when he was replaced by Chester Bennington.
He is credited for the cover art of Toxicity by System of a Down.
