MAXINE

AKA: Maxine van Breukelen

About MAXINE

MAXINE (full name Maxine van Breukelen, born 29 January 1998) is a Dutch singer-songwriter from The Hague.

When Maxine was younger she was already dancing, acting and singing in musicals. After she finished high school she went to Musikmakarna, a Swedish school for promising songwriters. There, she learned how to get her songwriting skills to the highest level and received advice from experts, such as Swedish pop producer Max Martin.

Before becoming an artist herself, the graduated songwriter already worked with and for other artists, including Dutch singer Maan. The tracks “Niet Alleen,“ “Vergeet Je Niet“ and “Onverstaanbaar“ were co-penned by Maxine.

Up until November 2019, Maxine was working behind-the-scenes, but her debut single “DON.T“ changed that completely. Its follow-up “Help Myself“ came out three months later.
