Shaun Cooper played bass as part of the original Taking Back Sunday lineup, recording their debut album Tell All Your Friends, released in 2002. He and John Nolan left TBS in 2003, forming Straylight Run along with Nolan’s sister, Michelle. Cooper was also briefly a member of Destry, another of Michelle’s projects. Cooper and Nolan both returned to Taking Back Sunday in 2010 and are still with the band.
