Sophia Somajo

Sophia Somajo Venai, (Also know as Soso) is a Swedish songwriter, fashion designer, pop singer and musician. Born on Januray 2, 1985.
In September 2008 she released her first self-produced album, “The Laptop Diaries”. The album was recorded and produced on a laptop in her bedroom. All songs were recorded by the microphone built into the computer.

In 2011 she broke with her discography and founded her own “Do It Yourself Bitch Productions”. Changing her stage name to SoSo. The following year she would release her second album entitled “T.T.I.D.S.D.I.E.U.I.C (That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up In China)”. The album was featured by international publications such as Interview Magazine, Dazed & Confused, and blogger Pérez Hilton.

Somajo chose a controversial way when releasing the album. She gave it away for free on The Pirate Bays download site. In a letter posted on her website, she explained that she made this decision since she created music with fans and art in mind and not charts.

In 2014 she launched her first clothing line called Klaun with her boyfriend, Riccardo T. Castano.

At the end of that year she confirms that she returns to her original name when it comes to releasing music and is working on new material.
