About The Ting Tings

The Ting Tings are an English indie pop duo from Salford, Greater Manchester, formed in 2007. The band consists of Katie White and Jules De Martino. The band’s name consists from the Mandarin Chinese word for “an old bandstand in a park” as well as the Cantonese word for “listen”.
