Collar Full Lyrics
We've waited so damn long, we're sick and tired
I won't leave any doubt or stone unturned
I've got a collar full of chemistry from your company
So maybe tonight, I'll be the libertine
[Chorus]
Oh, show me your love (Your love), your love (Your love)
Give me more but it's not enough (Your love)
Show me your love (Your love), your love (Your love)
Before the world catches up (Your love)
'Cause there's always time for second guesses
I don't want to know
If you're gonna be the death of me
That's how I want to go
[Verse 2]
You've got it all worked out with so little time
Memories that I'd black out if you were mine
You've got a pocket full of reasons why you're here tonight
So, baby, tonight just be the death of me
[Chorus]
Oh, show me your love (Your love), your love (Your love)
Give me more but it's not enough (Your love)
Show me your love (Your love), your love (Your love)
Before the world catches up (Your love)
'Cause there's always time for second guesses
I don't want to know
If you're gonna be the death of me
That's how I want to go
Oh show me your love, your love
Give me more but it's not enough
Show me your love, your love
Before the world catches up
[Outro]
Oh, show me your love (Your love), your love (Your love)
Give me more but it's not enough (Your love)
Show me your love (Your love), your love (Your love)
Before the world catches up (Your love)
Show me your love
Show me your love
About
“Collar Full” seems to be a continuation of the story told in “Far Too Young to Die” — it’s all about going after this girl the singer has been chasing, making memories and how the singer wants her to be “the death” of him.
It may also be connected to earlier track “Casual Affair” — Panic! frontman Brendon Urie told Rock Sound:
It was kind of in the same vein lyrically and thematically as ‘Casual Affair,’ you’re caught in that moment like, ‘oh, shit!’ Just being infatuated with ‘that world,’ living out a fantasy in your mind of this girl that you’re chasing after.

In an interview with Rock Sound, P!ATD frontman Brendon Urie said:
I like to compare it Aha’s ‘Take on Me,’ it’s like very 80’s, John Hughes film kind of sounding. And the idea of it… ‘Collar full of chemistry,’ I liked how that sounded. Talking about make up on a collar. It was kind of in the same vein lyrically and thematically as ‘Casual Affair,’ you’re caught in that moment like, ‘oh, shit!’ […] Just being infatuated with ‘that world,’ living out a fantasy in your mind of this girl that you’re chasing after. It’s a very, like, pining, and urging for kind of song. It’s pretty straightforward, but there’s a lot of cool synth sounds that we were working with a lot that I really am happy that we incorporated in this song.
