[Chorus] Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor
[Verse 2] One dumb night I’ll make a point to take an old verboten route And one dumb night I’ll take you out, to the bar we've both blacked out One dumb night two bad decisions don’t divide to cancel out
[Pre-Chorus] You and I, divorced but not devout Every night my teeth are falling out Every night my teeth are falling out
[Chorus] Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it, try it, try it Get your jaw off the floor Try it, try it, try it Try it, try it Try it, try it... Every night my teeth are falling out

Vocalist and songwriter Peter Silberman spoke about each song on Burst Apart for Drowned in Sound. This is what he had to say about Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out:
I used to have a lot of dreams about my teeth falling out, which I’m told are anxiety dreams (though people disagree about this). This isn’t really about anxiety so much as it is about making mistakes when drunk, seeing somebody you have a complicated history with, regretting that. Musically, it’s my guitar song, a love letter to George Harrison at the end of The Beatles.
