Genius Annotation

A deeply sincere song about finding satisfaction in life and being content with one’s place.

In a tongue-in-cheek manner, John begins by saying all the things he’ll do when he finally gets “around to living,” similar to how many of us have dreamed. In the latter half of the song, a wiser, presumably older John gives advice to his younger self: don’t waste your life constantly searching for something better.
