Though lead guitarist Eddie Hazel achieved infamy from his guitar solo on the legendary title track, This song here can be said to be drummer Tiki Fulwood’s ‘'maggot brain’‘ showcasing his strong prowess on the drum kit. Jazz Legend Miles Davis was so impressed by the song, Fulwood would briefly exit Funkadelic to work with Davis for a while.
