Sorry for ditching you guys. After a livestream or a live recording failed to surface early last night, I decided it wasn’t worthing throwing a night of sleep. Good thing the transcription got done!

Day One for West Coast has been a great success. It has been the #1 song on the site for most of the day (“Forrest Grump” has taken that spot for now).

Congrats to everyone who worked on the page! That include (but not only): @BigBadBonj (for great annotation work and creating a postlet), @Lala88 (for transcribing the preview), @KINGATLANTIS (for major transcription work), and many others, including those who shared it on social media.

Now let’s wait for the official lyrics to surface (I messaged @Maboo about possibly getting them directly from the label), then we can do a good cleanup effort and prep it for the music video release.

Sorry for the triple post, but I’ve added annotations concerning the production and the songwriting, both which expand on SLA kind of material. (For example, guess where the song’s co-writer, Rick Nowels, was born.)

If anyone from @producer-genius can break down the production in more accurate terms, you’re welcome to do so.
